Mr. Tameler has been licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado since 1991. He spent 15 years with the Office of District Attorney in Pueblo, Colorado.  As Chief Trial Deputy, he trained and supervised a staff of 21 trial lawyers in all aspects of courtroom performance. Mr. Tameler was directly responsible for the prosecution of all violent crimes occurring within Pueblo County.
Mr. Tameler has successfully tried hundreds of cases ranging from DUI to First Degree Murder. He has briefed over a dozen cases involving a wide range of civil and criminal law issues before the Colorado Court of Appeals, and the Colorado Supreme Court. Mr. Tameler has set precedent in the use of scientific evidence in court, including the first use of Y-STR DNA evidence in the State of Colorado. 
Since 2007, Mr. Tameler has used his considerable experience and training to assist clients in his private law practice. His practice includes criminal defense, DUI defense, domestic violence defense, juvenile delinquency defense, and plaintiff's personal injury claims and litigation.
